All fitness adventures will not only challenge the physical health of an individual, but will also incorporate elements of enjoyment, social interaction, a connection with self and nature, and a placement of importance on building positive feelings of self-esteem through active learning and a variety of experiences.
SPICES Fitness provides opportunities for adults and children to promote the development of an active lifestyle that can be fostered and maintained over a lifetime.
Develop the fundamental primary fitness areas such as strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, and cardiovascular health to make it easier to enjoy a more active lifestyle, decrease the risk of injury, and build a strong physical base for sports training.
Add onto basic fitness goals, add variety to training, and enhance sports performance by exploring more complex training which incorporates practical and scientific knowledge to refine speed, agility, power, coordination, reaction, and sport specific skills.
The human body’s segments are linked, supplying strength and coordinated movement via the Kinetic Chain driven by the core muscles which work together to ease the completion of everyday tasks, foster athleticism, and improve immune and digestive functions.
An individualized activity program is tailored to meet one’s needs and goals and includes a healthy amount of physical activity which provides an outlet for stress, enhances mood, fosters self-efficacy, and is an opportunity social interaction with others.
